What does Pateka cost?
School sessions are $23 for after-school and $16-18 for lunchtime, booked by the term. Join any time and you only pay for the sessions remaining. The September holiday camp is $120 for a single day, $300 for 3 days and $550 for 6 days ($100, $250 and $450 early bird until 11 September). One-on-one coaching is $70 per session or $300 for a five-session pack, and birthday parties are $285 (1 hour session with 1 coach, up to 15 kids) or $475 (1 hour session with 2 coaches, up to 25 kids), additional kids $20. Every new player's first session is free.
Which schools does Pateka coach at?
Pateka runs lunchtime and after-school soccer sessions at 21 partner primary schools across Melbourne's east and south-east. Type your school's name into the school finder on our homepage to check yours, and if we're not there yet, we add schools every term.
Is Pateka safe for young kids?
Every Pateka coach holds a Working with Children Check and is first-aid trained, the academy is fully insured, and a wet-weather policy and heat policy cover every session. At partner schools, kids can walk straight over to aftercare when training finishes.
Can beginners join?
Yes. Sessions run at your child's own school, on the oval they already play on, with friends they already know, built for everyone from the first lunchtime kickabout to players chasing club football. The first session is free, so they can try it before you commit to anything.
Can I cancel or reschedule a one-on-one or group session?
Yes. Let us know at least 24 hours before the session and you'll get a full refund or a free reschedule. Inside 24 hours, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Can I cancel or reschedule a school session?
You can cancel, but school sessions aren't refunded once the term or class is paid. Instead, we'll offer a make-up session for the class your child missed. Just get in touch and we'll sort a time.
What happens in bad weather?
Every session is covered by our wet-weather policy and heat policy. If one of our coaches has to cancel a session (weather or illness), we'll run a make-up session, and refund you if a make-up isn't possible.
How does the sibling discount work?
Sibling discount: email us and we'll apply 25% off the second child. It stacks with early bird camp pricing.
What does my child need to bring?
Runners and a water bottle. Our coaches handle the rest. All the training gear is provided. For the holiday program, kids bring their own water bottle, recess and lunch; fruit, light snacks and juice are provided, and bookings of 2+ days include a free full training kit.
How does the free trial work?
Every new player's first session is free, at their own school, with no commitment until they've tried it and loved it. Fill in the free trial form and we'll set it up and confirm the day with you.
